One of the real joys of managing the website has been getting to know many classmates that I didn’t really know that well in high school.  Hermina was one of those.  I can’t remember how we tracked her down when we were planning the 50th Reunion.   It may have been through Marilyn Fletchall Skelton who was able to give me her address, I'm not sure, but I was very happy we found her. I remember Hermina calling me a few times when she was having trouble signing up on the website, and no matter how hard I tried to explain it to her, she just couldn’t figure it out.  She finally resorted to having her niece sign her up.  She told me she never could figure out computers and had her niece handle all that STUFF for her (which is why she hardly ever logged onto the website that I’m aware of).    We laughed a lot about her computer complaints.  I loved her sense of humor and laugh – she was such a fun person to talk to.   Although she called herself technically challenged, those challenges didn’t spill over into her career.  Come to find out, she had had a very successful career with the Disney Company and had risen to a pretty high position in the company before retiring.

I’m sorry we didn’t get to see Hermina at the 56th as I would have loved having some more laughs with her.  RIP Hermina, I’ll miss you.
