Survived by her children, Corwin, Michael and Lisa, as well as 3 stepsons, 10 granddaughters, 5 grandsons and 2 great granddaughters.  She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Mathis

From Linda Jones Conroy:  Dear Classmates,  I have not been on the Forum for awhile but just wanted to let you all know that Barbara Philpott Mathis passed away on August 10th 2020.  She was a good friend and kept in touch over the years. She will be missed by family.  Rest in peace Barb

From Carol Gnewuch Hegranes: Barbara Philpott Mathis was the first girl I met when my Family moved to Santa Ana in 1961. She was a very sweet girl. My Son and her Son Cody were born the same year, 1969. Tried to stay in touch over the years, but sorry she has passed. Missing my old And dear Friend.
