Very sad news.....We just received a message from Jeff's wife, Dana, that Jeff passed away on February 17, 2026. He had been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia this past the Fall which progressed very quickly.
No services are planned. His family will be spreading his ashes in one of his favorite places in the Sierras during a family tribute next Fall.
He is survived by his wife, Dana, and his twin sons, Cole and Evan.

I am so saddened by this. I remember Jeff fondly. Ran into him at our 25th reunion and he was so much fun. Truly sad news. My thoughts are with his family.

Sorry to hear about Jeff. I'd have to say even though I didn't know jeff well ceratin memoreis pop up out of the pile of dusty experience. I recall being at a party,Santa Ana College days and for no obvious reason a very big scary dude, known to be mean and a bit loco, reached over to grab me with the seeming intent to give me a thrashing. Jeff though reached over and diverted him . I don't recall ever talking to jeff about that but I wish I had. Years later when I was living in Lagiana Beach I'd see Jeff bobbing around in the coolest two seater Austin Healey. Always very upright, clearly enjoying the ride. I hope he had a good life and loving family.
