A family member, Nancy Hagge, confirmed his death on Facebook. Nancy said he passed away after a long struggle with FTD (frontotemporal dementia).
His wife, Cathy, passed away in 2012. Previous to his death, he lived in The Villages in Florida.

Thanks David for all the fun times we had in and out of High School. I wished we could of got together in Vegas a few years ago. Sorry we didn't get to stay together in the Army. You got to go to Germany and my MOS sent me to Vietnam. R.I.P Good Buddy
