Sorry to hear this. Dale was a really good friend when I was a kid. We both had Marine dads. His was a mean one but Dale was gentle, kind soft-spoken. I last remember him at a reunion, proud in his Air Force attire. He lived two blocks up from me on Pacific with the Wright brothers across the street. We'd play baseball out on the street and broke a window or two. There goes the allowance. Nothing but the best memories of this guy. Bye my friend. My other best friend of those years was Robert Samuels so much of my circle of early friends have left the building.
