John carried my books for me every day when I was on crutches with a broken ankle.  Thank you, John.    R.I.P.

John was my best friend during the high school years (actually from grade school).  We grew up on the same street and he took me to school every day.  We would fight like cats and dogs and then be besties again. Went we were little he smeared carbon paper all over my face.  What a little shit!  We would talk on the phone for hours.  I would want a new appliance and he would check Consumer Reports before he would let up buy.  He took care of me while Larry was in the Army, taking me to the show, fair, anywhere.  So much more I could say.  He is the god father to our son and we to his son. The four of us would go to Laughlin once a year in July and he would pay Maryann and I silver dollars to stay away from him.  So of course we would always go back saying we lost again John.  What memories.  When he was taking classes for city contractors license we would come over before class on Tuesdays, every week, and teach me a new food dish.  He could go in to the frig. and whip up a gourmet meal from what was there.   Stayed with him and Maryann until the very end of his life.  I remember just a couple days before he passed he would call me in a tell me to turn off the lights, we don't own the electric company.  Also, quit slamming the dish washer shut.  Was truly our best friend in life.  I love and miss you every day my friend.heart
